Attend the best offensive skills
workout in the Southland! Storm's primary focus is to instill
confidence in each player's offensive approach to the game. Parents
are encouraged to video tape each session.
Only 12 players
will be accepted for each workout session. Enrollment is limited, so
don't hesitate to RSVP early!
Workouts will focus on the following
& Ball Handling
Develop more effective, efficient and
quicker moves off the dribble. Learn ball handling designed to
strengthen your "blow past" moves. Create space, jab steps, first
steps and ball sweeps.
to the Free-throw Line
Learn how to hang in the air, draw
contract and have great body control moves. Attack the basket
while jumping off one or two feet to maximize your explosiveness
and power. Work on double pump and power moves near the basket.
Practice footwork to help you change directions in
traffic. Slash thru zones and split defenders.
Discover floaters, runners, fade away, duck
under, pump/ball fakes, pull up and off the dribble jumpers.
Split traps, improve full court transition
game, develop hesitation, change of speed & more.
